You get what you paid for - it’s probably one of the cheapest accommodation around the area. It’s pretty old but it’s close to a lake! Has a tiny fridge and a kettle in the room. Wifi is very poor but you can use your own mobile data. For some reason it’s not possible to shut the toilet door so that’s a bit odd 😂 we were greeted by ducks in the morning when we open the door.
The location was perfect for a visit to MONA. The room was small. Bathroom was tiny. The hot water temperature fluctuated constantly. Not great value for money in my opinion. Restaurant was fine to dine in. NO BLOODY AIRCON. This is Australia. How can a motel have no aircon.
We had riverfront room, which was too beautiful to describe in words. Everytime we opened up our gate, we were greeted by ducks and so many birds.
Room were a little bit standard, but very clean and fully equipped.
Would totally recommend for a laid back stay.
Conveniently located close by to the necessities and being just out of town makes for a quick getaway when continuing on a road trip.

The rooms were a little noisy but really well maintained. Our door backed out onto the water, which was a lovely morning view, but the highlight is definitely watching the ducks just outside the back door.
Accommodation average at best. Self contained cabin sort of rooms. Parking outside rooms which is ideal. Rooms however are basic but spacious. Had WiFi issues during our stay which was quite annoying. The actual site is great. Big outdoor space. Good views.

6 of us had a beautiful meal. Most had the roast lamb and we all agreed that it was delicious and tender. Veg was perfectly firm, not hard, just right. The service was very good too. We eat there regularly as it's close to home and always a great experience. Thank you
